Archival Remembrance:
With a positive approach to life and an ability to see goodness in everyone she encountered, Sr. Genevieve Therese enriched the IHM Congregation for 67 years. An outstanding educator, she touched hundreds of children with a spirit of true joy and happiness. She influenced the lives of many families in her service as a teacher in elementary schools in Pennsylvania and New York. Even as she awaited that moment when she would be united in greater fullness with God, she maintained her loving spirit. As a prayer minister at the Marian Convent since 1977, she generously and graciously gave of herself in service until her death on August 11.
