I have been able to see, hear, and feel their stories of pain, sadness, despair, and anguish.
They began their mission to provide education, pastoral care, agricultural methods and health care to the poorest of the poor in the rural regions of Haiti in 1948, and were the first indigenous congregation of women religious in Haiti.

The crisis at our southern border is real. So, too, are the political and policy challenges in desperately needed immigration reform and the courageous national and international action required to address the root causes of such massive migration.
