To discuss a Charitable Gift Annuity to benefit the IHM Sisters, contact Sister Ann Monica Bubser, IHM directly. Our Congregation will help you to achieve your planned giving goals.

The IHM Sisters have set up an annuity program for the Congregation’s benefit.  Donors may use our Congregation’s financial institution to help endow the IHM Congregation. Our financial institution for planned giving is the National Catholic Community Foundation (NCCF). NCCF will assist the IHM Sisters in presenting our donors with a Charitable Gift Annuity option. When the remainder of a chartable gift annuity remains with NCCF in the form of a donor-advised fund, it provides an endowment for the Congregation’s future.

Charitable Gift Annuities

A Charitable Gift Annuity provides a powerful tool by which our donors can support the IHM Sisters, while providing themselves a guaranteed income for life—usually at above-market rates.

A Charitable Gift Annuity for our Congregation is a contract between a donor and the donor’s financial institution that provides a lifetime of annuity payments to the donor (and survivor or other beneficiary) in exchange for an irrevocable gift of cash, securities, or other assets. Generally, the rate of return is enticing, and the payments are guaranteed for life. CGA Quote BubbleThe Charitable Gift Annuity, as with any planned gift, can be used to create a donor-advised fund at your financial institution to benefit the IHM Sisters.

Through this vehicle, a donor makes a contribution of cash or securities to their financial institution and, in return, receives an income guaranteed for his or her life (and another beneficiary, if desired). The donor also enjoys certain tax advantages associated with the contribution and the income derived from the annuity.

Upon the death of the annuitant(s), the remainder will be distributed as advised by the donor, less any additional fees.
