Marywood University Service Trip 2010

Chichicastenango & San Lucas Toliman, Guatemala

 

Sister Donna M. Korba, IHM serves as chaperone with other Marywood faculty and staff on International Service Trips to Guatemala. Twelve Marywood University students spent one week of service in Guatemala during winter break 2009-2010.

The group joined with the local people in working in areas of reforestation, coffee harvesting, setting up a 
school library, and organizing medical supplies for the parish clinic. The group also visited the mission in 
Chichicastenango where Sister Donna and the IHM Sisters have collaborated since 1994.
